Kimberly Boulon Fine Art Gallery
It’s been my privilege as an artist and life-long observer of nature to live on St. John since 1980 with my husband, Rafe, raising our two sons, Devon and Revel, while enjoying the island’s beauty. Life here lends itself to quiet consideration and passions run wild. Taking inspiration from above and below our beautiful sea, I express these passions mostly in oil, pastel, watercolor and gouache. They give my artworks variety in all genres, ranging in style from Traditional Impressionism to Contemporary. As I paint from my heart, I welcome and extend this approach to commissions, including paintings of your home, rental villa and/or its view. The possibilities are endless. It would be my honor to bring our collective visions to life if you so desire.
And as my artist’s life speeds by with countless yet satisfying hours of painting in my chosen personal environments, spending a couple of days a week in the Gallery gives me joy. It allows me the opportunity to visit with people I know or are new to me, in a creative environment, where the beauty of the islands, the people, the art - mine, theirs or others’ - are the special connecting elements.
Sharing my artworks and events in the Marketplace with its excellent facilities, easy and abundant parking and surrounding and accommodating businesses has made my artistic endeavors a pleasure. And combining my two-dimensional artwork with several three-dimensional artists in our gallery provides a complete experience, We also have creative lighting by George Hollander, stone mosaics and castings by John van de Water, ceramics by Casey Giakas and Gail van de Bogurt, jewelry by Kim Noguiera and Karen Calandra, wood turnings by Hal Usher and stone creations by David Moser.
