Tortola born artist, Aragorn, shows his striking metal sculptures, famous art t-shirts, prints and pottery in a vibrant and visionary studio arts centre.
Aragorn’s Studio is rated as one of our personal 'highlights’ throughout the entire Caribbean. This is both an Arts and Crafts Studio and a window into the Caribbean craft culture.
With a Pottery workshop, Basket making and Wood carving all going on alongside BVI artist Aragorn Dick-Read's metal sculpture workshop......and the shop is a den of hand-made treasure.
In fact, it is the biggest collection of locally made arts and crafts you will find in the region, all delightfully displayed inthe Gallery
At the heart of this are Aragorn's exquisite copper wall sculptures and famous Fireball sculptures surrounded by our professional potters Deborah Entwistle and Elizabeth Crowley stunning line of pottery items.
Aragorn's original hand printed T-shirts and silk-screened prints are all mixed wonderfully with the myriad of fine crafts and jewelry, Caribbean music, books and more!
Visit the Studio by day to catch a glimpse of Aragorn cutting out one of his ‘world famous’ Fireballs or banging away on a copper piece.

Photographer, Amanda Baker was born in the UK and arrived in the British Virgin Islands as a member of a three man crew on a transatlantic yacht delivery in 1988. Falling in love with the islands she made Tortola her home.
